Whilst walking sticks have a history which is long and involves the use of traditional materials, the use of comtemporary materials is increasing. The stylish modern handles of our contemporary walking canes are both durable and comfortable in the hand. There are many styles to choose from including amber, marbled and claret effects.

This example is black hardwood with a contemporary twisted knob handle, which is decorated with inlaid Swarovski Elements. A great formal cane for a night out at the theatre. 92 cm long.

To measure someone for a walking stick, ask them to stand with their weight evenly on both feet, looking straight ahead and with their arms relaxed by their sides. You then need to measure from the floor to the prominent bone of the wrist. This is the length of walking stick required. Please note this is just a rule of thumb.
